Art on Display at Pitt Law


The University of Pittsburgh School of Law possesses an extensive art collection displayed throughout the Barco Law Building, from murals to portraits and busts of prominent law school alumni, faculty, former Deans, and Pennsylvania legal practitioners.

Oil Painting Of Judge Sara M. Soffel by Molly Guion in New York. The portrait was given to the University at a ceremony in the Student Union by a close friend of Soffel. Previously, the portrait hung in the lobby of the University's Student Union before it's move to the Barco Law Library.
